getting ready for the big move.

We are moving from California to South Carolina on Tuesday the 4th. I am extremely excited and can't wait. I am not excited however about the 4 day drive out there. I wish that it was only as far as Vegas. Now that drive I can handle. My wonderful little girl is a pain in my doopah! If only she would let daddy and I pack for more than 45 mnutes at a time.

In South Carolina we are going to be taking care of my mothrers house while they are in Tennessee taking care of my sick Uncle Ted. We will keep him in our thoughts. Maybe we will be abe to go up that way for Christmas if he is still here. :( Its sad that My dads brother spent his entire life taking care of his mom and now my mom and dad are going to take care of him. Darren adn I were even willing to go there our selves. That would have been interesting. Us taking care of a little baby and a grown man that needs just as much help as a little babe. We would have done it and not felt a single harsh feeling towards the situation whatsoever.

We surely will miss going to the beach. But then again we will live 3 blocks from the beach. That will be very relaxing to sit out on the swing in the front lawn and listen to the beach crashing against teh Carolina shore. There is just something about it that makes you appreciate life so much more. I will also miss my new friends, and Darrens sisters that live here in North County with us. We will see them again I know. I will be sure of it.

I have to decide tonight...

So Darren is in Utah right now and the job thing is not turning out well at all. My mom and dad have been talking about making us an offer to move us to her house in South Carolina. I mean it is an amazing offer, take over the house and only have to worry about the utilities and taking care of the house. While we are there we can find decent jobs to get back on our feet. On the other hand, we could move to Utah with rent utilities and car payments on top of no real job potential. If we went to Utah we would have no winter clothes, so therefore have to pay more money to stay warm. Yes South Carolina gets chilly but it doesn't snow there (which is great cuz we HATE snow). What I want to know is who thinks this a good decision or a bad one. Do I move my 5 month old to the other side or the country or just a few states over? So many things have to be thought about before we make up our minds.

It sucks because we just got married and we are already getting laid off at work and running out of money. I mean we didn't have a great amount before but now we are really living on the edge of bankrupt. I admire my friends Melissa and Zac. They budget so well and still seem to have everything they could ever need. For them there is now unnecessary over spending. They are happy! We can do it just as well (it will hurt but we will manage)!

Until next time!

Ohh my goodness oh my goodness

Yesterday (October 22, 2008) Melissa, Zack and Teagun along with Jerad, Bethany and Mason came over to carve pumpkins with me and Nyali. We had a really great time. While us girls cleaned out the goop from the inside the boys enjoyed the party snacks. Then it was the guys turn to carve while Melissa and Bethany discussed new baby trends. It was nice not to be alone yesterday afternoon. Darren is in Utah till Saturday looking into a job. Its not looking too good right now. Kelly Downes doesn't have anything for him. I am worried that come November we will both be out of jobs and moving in with parents. Im not saying that living with parents is really bad but it will be crowded and we already know what happens when everyone is too crowded. ;) Nyali woke up this morning at 5 and didn't go back to sleep till about 6. I am so confused as to why she is waking up hungry at night. I thought we were past all of that. I guess that we have a a little time still. I can't believe how big she is getting. Yesterday while mason was here she looked like a giant next to him. Well she is 5 months old now an Mason couldn't be more tha4 weeks so ya know. But next to Teagun she is so tiny.
Nyali is even trying really hard to sit up by herself. By November I think she will be sitting up on her own. We miss Darren very much today.
Until next time.
